Did you just see a ghost?
I saw blank stares, souless eyes, and pale faces.
I saw wacked out hair, clothes ripped and shoes worn down by constant pacing.
I saw a fear that only appears twice maybe thrice a year.
This fear has creatures doing things they don't normally do.
It grips with a strong hold on those who
were once careless,
and for those who were carefree they are now care-subordinates.
What is this fear, what could cause such a tear?
Make a grown man weep, or a virgin share?
What is it that caused me such stress as to ignore it and write
a poem that may not make sense but give you some insight?
I say don't fear this demon, don't run away
it's caused by an institution that doesn't give a damn anyway.
It's the Exam, the dredded exam
where trolls and ghouls relax vacation and eat bread with jam.
They need not worry bout freakin us out
it's too easy, let the teachers figure it out.
So I sit back and grin,
cuz I'm not studying I'm writing this instead.
